Our vegetable-tanned one-piece strap took us a year and a half to perfect, and while it starts out rigid, the bridle leather will only get better and softer with age. We include a simple buckle made of unlacquered brass that'll take on a great patina the more you wear it. But the snaps and holes at the end mean that you can easily swap it out for one of our other buckles — the plaque is nice, unless you like oysters? — or one you already own.
